SOUL SINGER WINDCHIMES:
Notes: 4C#, 4E, 4F#, 4A, 4B, 5C#, 5E, 5F#

The chime weighs 31 pounds and is 65 inches long from the Top Plate to the bottom of the Sail.

This is my favorite chime! If you stand under it (or at least within 1 foot of the side of the chime), close your eyes, and gently move the sail in a circular motion so that the Striker kisses the tubes your body will feel the vibrations of the notes as they are playing. It is truly a wonderful and relaxing experience. I do only one commercial show a year, The Victorian Country Christmas at the Puyallup Fair Grounds, where I keep a chair by this chime. Reactions to the sound are always a surprise, eye lids flutter, faces relax, shoulders sag, some want me to do it over and over, one lady even cried, and most get their friends so that they can share the experience too.

The long sustain (how long you hear the notes) of this chime are because of the 2 inch aluminum tubing with a 3/16 inch wall thickness, note selection is the lowest sound this size tubing will generate and still be able to differentiate the individual notes from a distance. It takes me more than 5 hours to make this chime and the aluminum cost is significantly higher than my other chimes. People who know quality chimes feel my prices are lower than others for this quality of chime, those who do not know the cost of large chimes I need to give oxygen too! Because of the long note sustain this chime plays many random chords (multiple notes playing at the same time) consequently note selection and tuning where critical to produce the experience I was looking for.
